611m reps vibrating
Recently bought a new set of 611m reps with new Pirelli summer tires and new tpms. After 60+ mph I can feel a noticeable amount of vibration. Stickers on the wheels say 74.1mm center bore which is same as factory X5 bore. Really loving the wheels in black satin so I dont want to part with them. Been thinking of getting them road forced balanced to see If that makes a difference. Any have a similar issue with 611m reps? Thanks.

I'm not sure what that is. Just checked the weights and they only have them on outside. Looks like all wheels have different amounts of weights. Il have to go to Discount Tire and have them do it.

Get a roadforce balance at a good tire shop.

I got them roadforce balanced today. It's still not perfect but it's much better. Unless, I'm really sensitive to vibrations but il have to live with it as I love the wheels very much. Thanks guys!

Make sure the wheels are not bent. Got mine and their was a slight bend and had to have them straightened.
Not a bend in the lip but the hub is torqued and the wheel is slightly out of round and will wobble and you'll get a vibration. They throw these wheels around and sometimes their forced and give. Their cheap knockoffs so they're not the most robust. |
