Tire size help
Want to get Michelin pilot sport 4s 255 up front and 275 in the rear currently have the stock 245 front and 265 rear with Michelin super sports. I have 19 non zcp rims, stock suspension and 15mm spacers front and 12.5 mm rear. Will I get rubbing from 255 front and 275 rear? Heard mixed things.
Thanks |

I removed my summer tires, 245/265 with 12mm spacers front and rear and went to Michelin Alpin 255/275 due to being the only sizes available at the time. Discount Tire tech said they put the spacers on with the new tires but they weren't comfortable that they would clear 100%. I'm lowered on HR springs. After spirited drives, I come home and the garage instantly smells like tires. Not sure if it's the tires vs asphalt or tires vs liners.
I should make it clear Discount Tire did NOT install the spacers with the Alpins. Last edited by Captain Starbucks; 01-25-2020 at 12:21 AM.. Reason: Additional comment |
