FS: e90 in PA - opinions needed
Anyone has thoughts on the car for sale in PA? No records is the biggest concern. https://www.lwautomotive.com/vdp/133...burgh-PA-15237 |

Those gauges are definitely not OEM. Rust would be concern, look at the center supporting bracket for the exhaust.
Is it 97 kilometers or 60k miles?

Canada would have a kilometers cluster. Not a janky MPH one that is shown in the picture. Thats definitely not an OEM face gauge

A few things come to mind when looking at this car:
1) The suspension is not stock. Looks like race springs are on it. 2) As aforementioned, a non-native set of wheels are on it, which tells me that they sold the stock rims and probably even had a set of aftermarkets that most likely had spacers and was matched with item #1. 3) The intake elbow looks brand new. Most likely had an aftermarket setup and sold it before selling the car. 4) The airbox cover looks... well odd. I can't explain what the large streak is going down the middle of it. 5) Obviously not the stock spoiler. 6) The rotors look very beat up and most likely need replacing. 7) Front felt dam is damaged and needs replaced. 8) Looks like it needs an alignment and tires. 9) The rear cats have been removed. 10) There's clearly rust and a lot of missing under carriage bolts. 11) The MPH gauge isn't stock and is suspect. 12) Has this car been in an accident?! In conclusion, this car has definitely been modified quite a bit and returned to stock prior to sell, which isn't the worst thing in the world. Personally, I would hard PASS on this car. However, if you do decide to buy it, you'll need to pull out the pocketbook to get this car up to speed. Brakes and rotors, I'm guessing wheels since these are ugly and don't go with the car, alignment, new suspension if you don't like it being a harsh ride like it looks to be right now, and lastly I'd do the rod bearings if they haven't been done. If they haven't, then at a minimum, an oil analysis. Good luck if you're thinking of getting this! Last edited by AC/DC; 03-10-2020 at 04:26 PM.. |
