Hi guys, Might not be the right place but some might be interested. I'm looking to sell my 2005 imola red bmw e53 X5 4.8is. I'm the 3rd owner and owned it for about a year. Bought the car from Idaho with 39.9k miles. Car now have 45.5k miles. Car has clean history and no accident. Reason for sale is i just bought a house and need some money to do remodeling work. Wife said i have to sell one of my 4 bimmers (e93 m3, e46 m3, 2x e53 X5 4.8is). All of them are inder 45.5k miles. Between the two x5s, my red one is in better condition. But if anyone interested in my other vehicles, let me know. Anyhow, here is what i did under my ownership: Oil change at 39.9k miles. Will do one before selling so new owner don't have to deal with. Transmission fluid change Rear differential fluid change (i didn't do the front differential because 1) it probably good base on rear one since the fluid was still clear, 2) i'm little lazy. ) but if new owner wants, i can do before shipping the car. Update all interior lighting to Ziza led from ECS (not cheap knockoff ones Update all rear lights ( including signal light) to led from silvania and auxito (from ebay). Though auxito looks great maybe even better than silvania and they are not the cheap knock off either. Update angel eyes to led from brand that i forgot the name but cost me $150. You can see from picture that it's pretty bright even on bright sunny day. Added LED fog light from auxito. They are bright as heck. Added new cabin air filter from Mann Added K&S washable air filter for intake Windshield wippers (front/rear) was changed Added bmw rain sheild for all windows Added stem caps with bmw m ones Added bmw aux input for external music source Added all weather mats including the trunk one as well. Added bmw oem trailer hitch with bmw cap. Added bmw oem m sport aluminum pedals Aire bag and compreesor was replace by dealer last year before selling to me. Brake pads and tire are still in good shape. Bottom line, everything works. Though, this is an old car and there are some minor cosmetic stuff...like some scruffs on bumber from previous owner. It's barely visible unless you intentionally look for it. If your the OCD type, this car is not for you. If you want to know more about those minor cosmetic, text me and i can point them out. One cool thing is no door dings!!! If you have questions, please feel free to text me at 503-209-3007. Looking for $22k obo. |

[QUOTE=ttnguy15;26138617]Haha. Thanks bud![/OP, did you sell the car to a member here? I’m suddenly interested on this beast as a daily. Think it makes sense? I currently have an e90 m3 manual that I have been dailying w two kids in the back. Of course I can’t just get cheap boring suv. I still want something fun. How does it drive compared to our cars. Would u suggest me buying one with higher mleage as most of them are 100k+ in mileage. Thanks.
