GTS seats in a non GTS M4?
Gonna install the GTS in my ZCP M4.
Is any coding needed? Are airbags etc. the same? I know these are manual but besides that plug and play? Thanks

I'm assuming you're talking about the OEM North America seats and not the Euro buckets correct?

From my understanding; different features such as seat warmers, power seats, etc; makes the electronic hardware (controller) different, therefore prevents it from being plug and play. Since the US GTS seats are manually operated and the only feature it has is the airbags and seatbelt retract feature, it may require coding. This is something I encountered when I swapped my M2 seats for US GTS seats.

If your talking euro GTS seats they will need to be coded.
Alex from Alpine MSS coded it for me. Easy process by remote access into a Windows laptop. |
