Fender Liner Damage

My front 275/35 NTO1's have been ravaging the front fender liners. I'm seeing liner and minor radiator damage as well as missing access doors. Anyone else experiencing this?

When running 265/35-18 RE71Rs I've made contact to the front fender liner while on track but nothing like what you've shown. If you're running 265/35 on AN 18" rim, that overall diameter is even shorter.

What suspension are you on?

Are you sure it's the NT01 causing that? What wheel offset/spacers are you running?

It could also be debries (such as rubber pieces) thrown by the tires that can cause the damage.

18x10" ET25 with 275/35-18 NT01. I do suspect it's sticky rubber "track noodles" that are slapping the sh!t out of the liners. Could it be that they are retracting the clips on the access door which is then being swept away by the tire creating the damage shown?

I had the same thing happen on my 2015 M4 with the exact same tire setup, where the headlight access door got torn off after a track day. I suspect it was rubber debree that knocked it off. I since use duct tape to secure it in place.

I lost the headlight access panel on mine as well during a track day. I run stock tire sizes on my 513Ms, so I’m confident it was caused by tire debris and not my own tires rubbing. I haven’t done anything to prevent it from happening again.

Exact same damage and lost access doors from both sides, pretty sure it’s clag/debris

Another one but I am 100% making contact to the fender liners with the tire. My headlight door only popped out when I hit a wall at Mid Ohio though lol. Nice call on duct taping them!
