I'm back!
It's been a very long 8 years since I sold my old 2008 e92 M3 but I'm happy to say I'm back! Picked up a 2013 e92 with 6MT (only 21k miles too!) today! . Hoping to see some OG members on here again!

Welcome back. Did you sell the F82? What made you return to the E9x platform and what are the comparisons between the two cars? Beside the power of course.
Yes details are required upon returning to he E9x platform. Its in the fine print

Can someone please help me find out how to post a new topic. I have a question I never go to the dealership but it seems the ballast to my driver side light is going out and I was wondering how much it costs to replace the ballast at a shop!!

I had very specific requirements when looking for my fun car and the e92 checked all the boxes. It had to be naturally aspirated (high revving a plus), coupe, good handling, manual, and have a good enthusiast/DIY community. Other contenders I looked at was the Mustang GT350, Corvette C7 Grand Sport, Audi R8, and 911 GT3.

Just ran into a guy on the way to work yesterday who looked to have a nice F80 M3, he pulled alongside, we both lowered our windows (going maybe 20 mph in traffic) and I said, "Nice car!"
His reply back to me, "I hate it! Traded my E92 in for this." Then explained it's just not the same driving experience. I guess OP is not alone in his feelings for the later generation M3, M4. |

This..."I couldn't get over the artificial steering feel and terrible exhaust" exactly why I wanted out of my f80. I do miss it's looks.

Welcome back!! I test drove the M4!! definitely fast and crazy torque!! However, could not get over the Electronic steering and the stock exhaust sound with both the windows down and up!!...I'm keeping my E92 platform till the wheels fall off!! The M4 you had looks mean!!
