Need Help Understanding whats Wrong with my M3
Hello everyone, I recently purchased a 2011 E92 M3 and have loved it so far. Just within the past two weeks it has been going into limp mode randomly. It seems to be when the engine gets to about 190 degrees or right under 210 on the dash. It will go into limp mode if I get up to around 3000-3500 rpm however it doesn't do it every time I drive it also when I stop and turn the engine off and back on it will not be in limp mode anymore and I usually wont have a problem out of it for the rest of the time I drive. Very confusing to me also I am new to BMW's and M3's so please bear with any ignorance on my part. These are the fault codes I am getting with my reader.
Engine: 27E4 & 2796 OBD2: P1209 & 2B57 I have tried looking into it and am getting to many possible problems so I am hoping someone here can help me understand what exactly the problem is or at least the most plausible option. Thanks |
