What should I do with my car? Such a pain..

So my car gave me ANOTHER CEL and is in dealer now.
My car has been into the dealer 5th time so far since I got my car 4 months ago and it barely has 4000 miles now.

Is there anyone who had similar experience such as this?

I am hoping to get rid of this car under the lemon law or hopely get them to assume my lease and give me another BMW (would like to get 328xi coupe or CPOed 335i) for the payment I'm paying.

Do you guys have any suggestions?

Yeah, definitenly get it under the lemon law, there should not be that many problems.

Why would you replace it with a non Z though, just wondering?

I had 2 roadster in a row and I never knew it was so impractical until I drove 335i as a loaner. I'm sure i'll miss the drop top though.

i had my 335 bought back after 1 year of ownership....it happens...it sucks...o well

tell them that (without the language mind you) that this is bullshit , you expected better from bmw, a new car shouldnt have this many problems...i want my car inspected for repurchase.

At last a relevant question; many things can trip the CEL light. First check your state's lemon law (google "lemon law"; you'll find a site which catalogues the laws of the various states). Then review the work orders from all your dealer visits, looking for a pattern which fits your state's law. Often it's three visits for the same malfunction or thirty days in a row out of service. You might be a candidate for the three visits condition. If you are, just follow the procedures described in your state's law.

But I doubt that the CEL light coming on is a sufficient condition.

Call BMWNA directly and complain to them that your BMW has had many problems and you're considering going the lemon law route. It might take them 2~3 weeks to get back to you. But they might likley offer you the buy-back assist in which case they buy back your BMW and sell you a new one at discount.

Updates.

I got everything sorted out and for time being, i'm keeping the car.
BMW NA did satisfy me at the moment which i agreed not to mention anything anywhere.

Just a quick question, what would a car maker do with these used lemons after they buy them back from the customer?

glad it all worked out. I wish my Z gave me problems but nothing out of the ordinary

I just have one thing that can't seem to get fixed but I think it is a mechanic error...
