Should I replace front pads before event?

I have a 2-day track event coming up. I have a hair over 2 x backing plate thickness of material (PFC11) left on the fronts. The hardest braking zone is at the end of the back straight braking from 125-130 mph. Will my front pads last the whole 2 days? (8 x 30 min sessions)? Should I replace the front pads before the event or just take an extra set of front pads with me to the event? TIA.

I would take an extra set if you're comfortable swapping them in been sessions if needed. The other option is to swap them out now and save the existing pads for a future shorter event, but I'm guessing you might be ok with no swap.

So around 1/4"? I think you'll be fine. PFC11s don't wear that quickly. Just make sure a piece of the pad doesn't shear off.
