octane booster or new tune

Hey guys so I'm currently running a cary Jordan 93 tune. thinking of going to cali and Vegas in a month or so. I've heard you can only get 91 octane there. should I get a total different tune or use octane booster every tank ? thanks for any input

You can add E85 or octane booster or tune to 91 ACN. I suggest tuning if you're not going to be using the extra power.

Permanently or visiting? You can only get 91 octane in a number of states out West.

But 2 options, 6-8oz of Boostane, or ~3 Gallons of E85 should sort you out on a 93 octane map.

If permanent, I'd suggest an E30 or E85 map. E85 in California is high quality.

Honestly, the difference between 91 and 93 octane maps, is not a lot of power.

As they are saying...if it was me, I would just map down to 91 (30 sec switch) since the tune is appropriate for the fuel there. No need to mix. The difference is small from 91-93 as noted

Not necessarily. In the metropolitan areas, yes. In suburbs, no.

I would get the 91 tune just to be safe, just for the peace of mind.

I'm not sure, I have never checked E85 gas stations between the 2 cities
