Need some help with tires for 513m (ECS or RE71R)

I have a 2015 M4 with the 18" 513m's. I am currently running 255/275 continental ECS and I'm looking for some more grip. I have JB4 with DPs right now and I loose traction on map 2 and hope the wider tires will help with this a bit.

Should I step up to 275/35 and 295/35 ECS or get RE71R 255/35 and 275/35?
I don't really want to mix side wall heights and I'm not ready to get some 19in wheels I like.

Will these sizes fit my rim?

Would either of these set ups rub? I do plan on lowering a little bit on M performance HAS.

I understand the RE71Rs are louder and kick up more debris but i plan to put some mudflaps like Tommy L Garage to help with that.

The RE-71R's are going to absolutely outperform the continentals. Only problem is that they don't last long and are really a track/autocross tire. If that doesn't bother you, definitely for the Bridgestones.

Thank you. I've heard that a lot so I think I've decided to keep my 18s when I get new rims and put re71rs on the 18s and use continentals as a daily just gonna up in width. The 18s will be for autocross and possibly a track day(fingers crossed)

The RE-71Rs improve traction quite a bit, but they are noisy (velcro sound) on certain surfaces. If you've upped your boost from stock you need RE-71R or MPS4S.

I ran 19in Contis in 275 front and 295 rear and that was a great improvement for stock power levels. Once I started playing with tunes /flashes the Contis just didn't hold.
