very tempted to pick this up, I am assuming we will need to rebuild the supercharger prior to install and purchase a new OTS tune. Is any part of the kit damaged?

Correct you will need to purchase a new tune.

The supercharger doesn't need to be rebuilt, but I would recommend it just because it's off the car now and it's pretty cheap to rebuild. Nothing is damaged, it was functioning perfectly while on my car.
