New TIS website closed

Well...looks like BMW AG shut down the newtis.info website.

Once again BMW wants cash, $2500 annual subscription. Wonder if we all can chip in for $5 and get shared log in.

I'll go on a limb and say that other than certain engine assemblies - heads, rods, etc. - "guttentight" will do just fine elsewhere.

VW did this a few years ago, pricing was the same. I purchased a one day subscription and spent 4+ hours downloading everything I could find for my Jetta and now I have everything I need.

RealOEM is the ETK, so spare parts catalogue. NewTIS has the various procedures applicable to each model.

Has anyone done this (dowloaded everything for their car) on the BMW site that charges $30 a day? I just bought an F15 and have spent hours trying to find a shop manual. If I can get everything for $30 from bmw that would be awesome. Probably too good to be true.

As bendel mentioned above, all the information is in ISTA which you can download for free.

The site is actually not closed, but now you need an invitation and you have to register your user in order to access the database.

If you have trouble downloading it and installing it like me. You can buy the software through eBay sellers for $50-100. Worth it for people that aren't the most tech enhanced

Wow, you should just take the car to the dealer then. There are plenty of step by step guides on how to install it, but paying someone $100 to install already pirated software doesn't make much sense to me.
