Mystery fluids tank & Steering Rack
Hi All,
Who can tell me what this tank is? To me it looks like the level is low enough to warrant a top up. Also, how do you access it? On the 2nd topic, when I turn the steering wheel to full lock there is a "thud" sound when I get to 95% full lock (turning left or right). Would this be anything to do with low power steering fluid or something more sinister. Photos are here! View post on imgur.com |

Lol they are not mystery, just check your user manual. One under the plastic cover (closer to windshield is brake fluid) and doesn't look line you need more, one on the right is coolant for intercooler (looks like you got 50 engine)

i also have that thud sound when at full lock, seems to be mostly on right full lock tho and only "thuds" when i unwind the steering wheel from full lock. never looked into what is causing it lol

On an unrelated note, took off my engine cover since I have a fuel smell coming from the engine bay and lots from the rear of the car and I found this. Wouldn't be related to the fuel smell but still....DAMNIT!
