Bad choice on wheels

I think I made a bad choice of size.

I research a lot and I found the ideal 20" wheels for X5 was 20x10 and 20x11... but I really don't like the results. My first impression was worst than now... but I still don't like it.

I bought the H&R springs and I expect a better look with them.

Here is the pictures:

You need the fender flares from the M body kit. This will help with the extension you have past the fenders.

Definitely an interesting look, but fender flares will help. You don’t need to get the M ones either. The black non-painted ones will look great also.

You need to lower the truck, it will look fine after that. Gatoferoz25 had bronze on his Silver E70 and it looked fire. Yea and the flares are needed.

They look great. Get these. I would paint them but you don't even have to.

I just receive a call from the store and my H&R set as arrived. We schedule the installation for Tuesday. I'll post the pictures here.

if u like the style of the wheel, then just have a machine shop shave down the inside hub of the wheel by about 5-10mm or so, raising the offset by that much and sinking the wheel combo in a bit.

Imo the color looks great, I think the size of the wheel is the problem. Lowering and fender flares may help but the X5 is a large suv and needs 21’’ wheels at least to fill the wheel well.

I tend to agree with you on wheel size. I run OEM 21's for summer, OEM 20's for winter... I'm fine doing 20's for winter but sorta wished I'd gone 22" for summer. Like you said, this size SAV commands a bigger sized wheel. The new G05 has a 22" OEM option...

Either way, the F15 pictured in this thread needs the wheel arches as almost everyone has mentioned, these wide wheels w/o the arches doesn't look right with all the wheel poke.

Honestly, not really sure how this non-M Sport, non-wheel arch, chrome window trim X5 is going to look slammed on H&R springs with these bronze wheels H&R springs are well known to sit pretty low and result in a pretty choppy ride.

OP/thomazhm - please follow up on this thread and let us know what happens!

I'd do black unpainted flares, blackout the chrome window surrounds. Then it will look nice.

I agree, maybe the non m sport aero kit would help too.
