Just got a new (to me) E90...
...so I figured I'd make my first post here. I've been stalking local Craigslist listings for months - plenty of E92s and E93s for sale, but E90s seem to be pretty rare (or used by shady dealers as bait to get people to call them). But I finally managed to get one - a low-mileage, one-owner, well-maintained 2009. Got it home last Saturday, and just got an oil change and brake flush done (and will be sending an oil sample to Blackstone).
My whole life I've been much more into motorcycles than into cars, but I'm super excited about this one! |

Thanks! It's grey, with a black leather interior, and a DCT. I wanted a MT car, so the DCT was a concession to my wife. She can drive a normal transmission, but really wasn't looking forward to doing so on San Francisco's hills. And after a few first drives, I'm actually not too sad about that compromise. The DCT seems to be a VERY different beast from automatic transmissions.
I'll try to take some photos this weekend! |

Note the 6MT does have hill assist. Car holds itself for 3-5 seconds on hills so you can engage the clutch without fear of rolling back 1".
