Anti-Dazzle/GFHB HELP
Hello everyone, I have a 2019 F16 BMW X6 North American (Canadian) spec equipped with the LED lights and have the Adaptive High-Beam Assist. I got my car coded to enable the Anti-Dazzle/GFHB by a local coder. I noticed my AHA are not working properly. I’ve watched a bunch of videos of European spec cars work their Anti-Dazzle/GFHB feature, It seems my lights aren’t working as they should be. I notice my lights move around trying to create the shadow box but it looks like its working on the low beams. I have BimmerCode Expert Mode, would it be possible to add/remove some codes to fix this problem?
I made a video to show you guys and for those that have the Anti-Dazzle/GFHB, I would really appreciate it if you can let me know if my Anti-Dazzle/GFHB is working properly |

I suggest you check this thread here:
https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1110249 as well as coding coding thread here it is very well explained in the first post there: https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1033991 On your video it doesn't exactly look right, I would suggest to work with the coder who did it for you. |

I'm not sure this will work. I also have an M5 and used this thread to code this. It's amazing to watch!
How to Bimmercode VLD and Anti-Dazzle (GFHB) with your adaptive LED headlights https://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1715500 Unfortunately my X5 doesn't have the front camera. |

Yours looks different than mine. When I have the dynamic shadow, the lights do move to the sides, but I also have all the periphery of the road and the trees lit up. Yours does not seem to be doing that.

1. For my '15 F15, bimmercode lists FRM as BDC (?) 2. The values are F015_xxx... instead of F025_xxx... 3. In the listed method 1, the last step "3073 LaMaster1 > C_HBA_ADAPT_SHUT_ENA > F025_enable > 0x01" has already been checked. |

For those of you with BDC and FLE modules, here is the PDF I referenced.
If you are using Launcher Pro / Esys, there are a bunch of cheat codes already created so you do not have to code these manually. You modify the FA, then save it, then code BDC and use the cheat codes to code the FLE modules. NGHB How To_F15_v2.pdf Sorry, I don't use bimmercode so can't help there

At the very least, if you choose to code using Expert mode make a backup to revert to if needed. |

Update: I tried to code it, all of my settings were the same except C_HBA_GRHB_ENA, original values were F015_Highway_Standby_LD13 and i changed it to F015_Highway_Standby_AFS. I went out for a drive, it didn't fix the problem unfortunately.

Is your highbeam indicator coming on by itself? It should be. You should also be able to see the "A" in green which if I remember correctly is just below the blue highbeam indicator. There are times where it will turn off the highbeam. For example when you are in a well lit area. |

In the F10 M5 post I shared with you there were two different methods the OP outlined. If I recall correctly, it was dependent on the hardware. If neither of those will work, I would suggest posting a question in that particular post to see if someone there knows the answer to resolve your issue. There were other chassis owners using that coding with success as documented in that same post. |
