40e check engine light

Happened 2nd time, and dunno what caused it.

Last time took it to the dealer and the fault code says communication error between EME and HKA modules. They couldn't reproduce it and just cleared the code.

Now the car is with the dealer again and they say it might need to stay over the weekend, and they are gonna drive it for about 100mile for "stress test".

Tried to google EME/HKA, and they are electronic management and air conditioning modules respectively?

The dealer mentioned it might not even be covered by the CPO warranty. But when I ask what exactly is the cause the service rep said he doesn't know yet.

I was like: Then how the hell would you already think it might not be covered by CPO warranty.

Anyways, this doesn't sit right with me as of now. Keeping my fingers cross and hope this is only due to some bad wiring in the system etc...
