E85 start up problems
Is there a way i can make my car crank up faster on cold starts?
I am on e85 tune and it would take maybe 7-10 seconds for my car to crank up even if i used the car the day prior. Tips? |

Do you have one of the aftermarket flex fuel modules or a DME E85 tune. Some of the modules will let you adjust cold start fueling in an attempt to alleviate long starts. Or you could just back down the E85 concentration while temps are on the colder side.
If you have a DME tune your only option is to contact the tuner. |

During cold start e85 in colder temps will stick to the intake track before it reaches the cylinders. To counter act this you need more fuel on start up in cooler temps. You will need to contact your Turner to correct this.
