The message on i-drive screen is either "change PDC" or "change DPC", I can't recall what's it really says, it showed up once this morning and it wouldn't show up again, anyone else saw a similar message?

PDC stands for park distance control, or the parking sensors...
Do they still work? If so, probably a glitch. You could run it through scan tool to check the error in more detail, likely it was logged.

Had something similar pop up last night but message went away today Im guessing it had to do with snow freezing on sensors.

Yea the parking sensors still works, I don't have a scanning tool which sucks, guess I have to take it to BMW to diagnose.

Did yours show up like a warning with a triangle, or just a message on the i-drive screen?

Snow or dirt in the sensor is my recollection...

It could just be an issue with snow like others have mentioned , however I got this message and the dealer said the module that controlled parking sensors was damaged/fried. I got other weird messages about cruise control, however both cruise control and the parking sensors worked normally. I just kept getting those messages.

I would definitely have the dealership check it out if that's an option.

Do you still remember what was the message showed up on the i-drive screen? Is it "change PDC"?

Lots of warning lights for different things showing up is a classic sign of a low battery or one that is reaching the end of its lifespan. BMWs are well known for this.

So this message showed up again, and I took a picture this time. Looks likes "Gong/PDC", I don't think it's related to parking sensor, anyone have an idea?

Where it says Gong/PDC with the Volume Icon....that's saying your volume for your Gong / PDC (parking sensors) is at like 1/4 volume. This has nothing to do with the error you are experiencing. But it is showing that volume setting because I believe its related.

Gong being the noise you get when your seat belt is unbuckled, the door is left open, the weather is cold and you can an iDrive alert. the PDC portion would the beeping when parking and coming close to an object.

If the text above is saying what I think its saying, its wanting you to Confirm that you understand that your parking sensors / backup camera / 360 camera system is malfunctioning.

When you get this error, put the car in reverse and see what it says. If you have a PDC error, the reverse camera as well as the PDC sensors front and rear will shut down completely.

I took a rock to one of my front parking sensors this summer driving back from Calgary to Edmonton on Hwy 2 and this is the same error I got. Mine was persistent, not intermitent like yours was. I had to clear it every time I started the car untill I replaced the sensor.

Do all your cameras and parking sensors work?

Then I don't believe you have a problem, you are just seeing the lawyer warning disclaimer.

I think I figured it out, so when I get into the vehicle, and push the start button, the I-drive screen turns on, and at that moment if I push the volume button, it goes into silence and that's when the "Gong/PDC" message pops up.

That is not an error message, you are just catching the moment of standard warning message during start up and adjusting volume.
