2018 BMW X5 electric running boards

Good Day folks,

I'm writing to try and obtain some info for work purposes...
Im from the 1addicts forum and wanted to know if anyone has successfully installed electric running boards to a 2018 X5?

I've researched and found some answers but I want to make sure I'm correct with my findings...
Plus I trust any direction provided from the forum...

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

I don't think there is an OEM solution from BMW, they only offered regular running boards. Aftermarket-may be but I don't think F15 really needs these.
