FYI
Someone posted a while back about a squeak type noise from the rear of their Z. It is usually most noticable getting in and out of the car especially with the parking brake on. I had this problem on my M an nothing is worse than a new expensive car squeaking when entering or exiting it. If you have this the problem can be corrected by adjusting the PB cable. It is not covered by your warranty but your dealer may fix it for at no charge.

mine does that. I figured it would be something like that but I hardly notice it anymore. Perhaps I'll have the dealer (tighten I assume) the cable next time I am in there.
