F15 x35i injectors - EU5 to EU6

Hi guys,

I accidentally saw a thread in f30 forum where the guys there were discussing that there is function differences between the injectors of the petrol engines.
A guy was showing even emages (example was for n20 engine but still)
Showing that the injectors look is the same but acts differently if produced before or after 2016 (this is the year when the European Euro6 class was introduced).

So the guy stated that if you change the injectors with the newest, you will benefit with much quiet working mode and significant improved fuel consumption.

Then i started looking into the German biggest site for cars and check the x5 xdrive35i for 2015 (which is the year of mine) vs the same but produced 2016 and onwards, and indeed the 2015 were indicated as Euro5 class, while the newest as Euro6.

Does anyone seen or had experience with this kind of swap/mod. Can it be true and is it worth doing it for getting much better fuel consumption?
