Carbon fiber seat backs
looking to get some carbon fiber seat backs. Does anyone have experience with rw carbon or dinmann?
Rw is slightly cheaper. But does dinmann have a better rep? |

I purchased the Dinmann CF Seatbacks and returned them because I've found some bubbles and imperfection of the CF weave. However, I've purchased some interior CF parts from Dinmann and CF weave & Fitment was perfect!

Find a used set of EAS seat backs. You can get them for 600-700 used, and weave is damn near OEM perfect. I ran them for 2+ years, sold them for what I paid. The fit is so good, too, that you don't need to reinforce with double sided tape.

It has to do with the tow size (bundle of filaments) that make up the cf. units are usually dtex (metric) or denier (imperial). Lower numbers mean smaller tow bundles resulting in a finer weave and typically more expensive.
Edit: typing on phone, excuse the poor grammar. |

Are you implying some products are bad, but some are good?

I believe Dinmann products are hand made so there is bound to be some inconsistencies in the product. Got mine from ABS auto body for like $350.

I do not recommend RW carbon seat backs. They are squeaky and don't fit perfectly. They fit well enough, but the squeaks every time I got in the seat and when I shifted in my seat got pretty annoying. And they will most likely crack when you take them off so one time use basically. I've had much better luck with their rear diffuser but I wouldn't buy the seat backs again.

Hi,
I was just trying to say that my experience with Dinmann Seat Backs had some defects. I'm not trying to say Dinmann products are bad as entirely, but overall they do make great products Last edited by M3nmotion18; 02-03-2021 at 03:04 PM.. |
