Dannyboy's Hawaiian Build Thread

Aloha Everyone,

I am finally back in an M3. This time a 2009 Space Grey/Back E92 DCT car. I picked it up on Oahu at a dealer who got it as a trade-in. Luckily I was able to get in touch with the previous owner through FB and got a whole book of service records, random parts, and an overall history of the car. I bought it sight unseen after speaking with him for a very fair price and I took delivery last week. Overall a great example. First on the list is some basic maintenance. Full brakes, oil change, and engine mounts are first on the list. Now for the pics!

First up while waiting for maintenance parts was interior trim and LCI tails. Aluminum really brightens up the interior.

DEPO taillights were next. Easy install and what a difference!!! Coded with the bimmercode app. Highly recommended.

Congrats looks great! Space grey is one of my favorite BMW colors. And good you were able to connect with the former owner.

She looks great. E92 LCI tails are a work of art. That alone makes the rear look brand new!

Looking good! And I see you have a Tacoma - can't live in Hawaii without a Tacoma/4 Runner

We vacation there every year and I'm always SMH at the amount of Toyota trucks, regardless of island.

Are you on the Big Island?

Yes! I live on Kona side. Taco is the daily/hauler. You absolutely need a truck in Hawaii for Hawaii tingz. More Tacomas than people here haha.

These pictures are killing me lol. I miss home so much (Oahu/Molokai). I love the E92, especially in space grey and those LCI tails make a massive difference. Enjoy the car and let the modding begin haha \m/
