Nice weather in Calif...any body else going on a nice drive

I just can't sit here with the weather 85 outside waiting for winter without taking the day off tomorrow to enjoy a nice drive. Gonna take a day off from work and have the top down for the last bit of summer heat, music for sure......

Got a nice drive planned this weekend? Where is it to?

It's a beautiful 70 degrees out here in San Diego, but it feels more like 75 degrees...planning on driving with the top down through some windy scenic roads on the 67 this weekend to test the suspension!!! A must if your in the SD area

Wine tasting on Old Dry Creek Road, Sonoma County, Saturday. Weather should be good there as well. No top to drop, but will drop both windows!

It was 90 degrees on the coast yesterday in San Diego (Mt Soledad). I just had an ACL replacement last friday so the Z4MC will sit this weekend. So Sad...

Yeah, it's supposed to be 90/95° this weekend.

My plans are to pull out my painted rear reflectors so I can cover up the unplugged wiring harness, put some black vinyl over the grill surround, hardwire my V1, and help my buddy install an intake on his GTI. Maybe do a mini shoot with the two cars.

I was going to go for a run out on Skaggs Springs Rd (via Dry Creek Rd) on Saturday. My friends back in Australia asked me for some in-car footage so they can hear the S54 (pretty rare in Aus, especially in Z4 guise) and see some California scenery at the same time. So I'll be busily sticky-taping a digicam to my rollbar up there at some stage

Maybe we can have a mini meet out there, get a few photos

It was in the upper 70's today in Houston and it's supposed to be in the lower 80's this weekend. Next week it's supposed to be back down into the upper 70's (and in the 40's at night - positively FREEZING). Unfortunately there's no where good to drive around Houston!

Hope you guys are able to get together. I've done Sonoma Valley before, and its nice and warm there, but driving through SF with a stick...SUCKS.

Santa Cruz was nice, even could be in a swim suit at the beach there today.....very unusual for it to be in the 80's there. Sweet, SWEET drive....makes me remember what i love about the car....and makes me realize that a drive like i just had is better than......sex.

This is always the best time of year for Santa Cruz. Indian summer with warm days and little fog. I drove to pleasanton and back on Friday. Oh joy. Drove to work this morning and just got home at 2. Nice out though

Rosie, make me jealous, cooling off here also. Question for you, do you use your windblocker all year-round? Just wondering if it cuts back on the air flow enough in the summer to make it uncomfortable. Thanks.

I bought it for the summer...its too windy in the cabin with the top down for my liking, so no, I actually don't remove it ever since I have the top down at least once a month even during the winter time.

She would have to be extremely talented and flexible, the quarters of the coupe are tiny, if not a bit claustrophobic!
