3M Tape
Which 3M tape should I use to help secure exterior pieces such as carbon fiber lip/diffusers? I have some already but it's kind of thicker, almost like foam. I had concerns about using it and it making a gap between the pieces I'm installing and the stock body lines. Anyone install all their pieces themselves? I'm leaning towards buying a full carbon fiber set from RW Carbon.

I used the stock mounting screws and a few self tapping screws for the front lip to make it more secure. 3m sells a tape you can get made for automotive applications that has a stronger hold then the normal double sided tape and is also thinner. Check Amazon or pep boys for the tape

This is what I ended up purchasing to be used on my black side vents based on a post here. It’s incredibly thin, but now I just need to find time to actually pull the old ones and put the new ones in.
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I’ll post a pic afterwards if I get around to it any time soon, but that’s not likely.

I definitely plan to use screws, but have seen multiple threads of people saying they used tape as well to get the most snug/secure and factory looking fit.
