Another exhaust valve question.

A little OCD, but my valves are open for some time now but I notice there are lots of rocks inside when i jiggle it. Should I take it off and empty it out?

Exhaust flaps you mean yeah get them out, how'd they get there, kids probably.

Seems like I need to unmount the muffler and then shake it out......
