What should be done to the ///M before I take delivery?

Quick question ///M owners.

As I prepare to take delivery of a ///M what software upgrades are required to the SATNAV, Bluetooth or engine management system?

What are the latest versions out?
Is there anything else that should be done before taking delivery?

Thanks

If you want the triple-signal activation, or any other customizations regarding the DME, the dealer won't (shouldn't) charge you for that one-time change, otherwise there is an hour rate for doing so.

+1 on the triple-signal.
I also got the DRL activated.

Here's a complete list of options that can be programmed (at least in North America)

The dealer should also offer to pair your phone via Bluetooth.

Main thing is to read the running-in requirements, which is to essentially never use full throttle, stay under 5500 rpms, don't exceed 106 mph. Also, gently run in the brakes at first, and take it easy during the first 50 miles on the tires, and first 300 miles on the gearbox. Vary rpms and gears as much as you can. Before you drive away, check the engine oil (wait 1 minute after turnig off the ignition) and check tire pressures.

Everything else has been covered (ie, PDI).

It's not like the newer models, they don't put out software versions like microshaft does for their wannabe operating system. What you get is probably the latest and the final version.

I second that. In north america the DRLs are the inner corona rings. They are not as bright as the e92 DRLs but they are pretty good and have a cooler color temp. Triple-Signal is a must.

Tapping the turn signal lever once, causes it to repeat 3 times, mostly used for lane changes.
