Can freeze warning be turned off?

I was at the dealer to have my free 1st programing done and asked to have the freeze warning "ding" turned off along with "lock on drive off" and "3 blink turn signal". They told me that it's not possible to turn the freeze warning off. I believe the owners manual says it's programmable.

Has anyone had this freeze warning turned off. If so, has anyone seen any instructions I could printout to show the dealer? This for a 2007 coupe.

Someone on here from the Chicago area did it, I read the post about 5 months ago, or so. I forget the sequence he used, and all the details, but it has been done apparently. I apologize for not being a bigger help.

nmulax-thanks so much for the link. I'll see if dealer can figure it out this time. I just don't care to hear the "ding" almost every morning in the winter. I know when it's enough cold enough to ice. I guess I would keep it if I lived in the mountains where elevation changes could cause drastic temp changes.

Same thing here. I printed that out and made them call other techs and they still claim it is not possible to turn it off. If you get it done finally let me know what dealer did it and I can tell the noobs at my dealership who to call to learn how to do their job.
