DCT Fluid Flush Interval?

Hello everyone, I tried searching this before asking but cut app is acting up, so here I am. I'm curious to know about how long you should go between service intervals on the DCT? I'm looking at a 135i with the N55 and the DCT. The car looks like it's been well taken care of, but I plan to do an overhaul on services upon purchase. The car has 125k on it. Is this too far gone?

Hey not sure if your referring 125k in miles or km but here is gangplanks recommended service intervals for the N55 and similar vehicles. I think if it's shifting ok and not slipping or acting funny like being delayed you should be ok for another little bit if your at 125k km but if your at 125k miles i would probably suggest it. I've seen some that have had it changed at around 140k km and some fluids were clean and some were dirty so it kinda depends on how you feel about the car and also how much your willing to spend because i'm pretty sure your supposed to replace the filters aswell if you do a fluid change and also that fluid isn't cheap. I believe it will cost around $600-$1000 cad if you were to bring it to an indy shop but that's just what i've heard and i guess prices can vary a bit depends on where you are. Hope this helped. p.s my 2011 135 dct is at 137k km and i'm almost sure that the tranny hasn't been serviced yet but it still shifts smooth as butter. Will possibly be servicing it this summer depending on if i sell it or not.

I guess I should add that it's at 125k MILES, or a little over 200km for my friends across the pond
