M// M// Good!
This just showed up at the local dealer... a mere two months after I picked up my CPO 3.0Si coupe. If I'd only known! My Si is a 2007 6-speed manual with less than 6K on the clock, but it's very tempting to make an "engine swap" so to say.
Anyway. I think this is a local lease trade, as I recall first spotting (I think) this ///M around town a year or so ago. It was the only coupe I'd seen until picking mine up. So it's here for the taking! Or don't be surprised if suddenly in it's place is a 2007 jet black Si. http://richmond-bmw.com/Preowned-Inv...oryId=26300291

And I've read about a lot of folks looking for good coupes lately. Some of those folks are having a difficult time finding them... and then my local dealer goes and gets two in two months! So, ya know, any way to help out fellow enthu-Z-iasts.

Think of it this way:
1. Yours has far fewer miles. 2. You get better gas mileage. 3. Maintenance costs are less. 4. Your car still goes fast enough to scare you. 5. Your car is a known quantity, where as the "new" car is less so. 6. If you really want to go fast, spend the money on driver schools.

That price is high.
For mine ('07, ZPP and Nav, 5k on the clock), I paid $39k. Mine wasn't CPO, but I could have added that for like $2k.

I would go for the M but just now this one. The milage is quiet high compared to your car and its pretty pricy. I am not sure if u can knock off couple thousand off the listed price cause locally used M coupe and roadster doesn't sell very well and theres a big room on the price. But yea the M is just so different from the 3.0si first of all nearly 80hp more in a car thats puny. That a big chunck of extra power especially towards the higher end. Plus more torque more noise and more style. The M is just way beyond a normal Z4 to drive by anymeans. Think this way if u get the M u can getting probably the most performance along with the most style for that kinda of money. Go for it.

Sincere apologies. Did not mean to ruffle the ///M feathers. It was an honest, but admitted, mistake.
