Hi Guys,

I am confused. I hope i got the engine numbers correct. What are the differences in between these 3? which one is better?

I tried searching but could not find.

S63B44TU probably.

My car has s63B44B and it came from Japan. Is it the same as the S63B44TU?

I just identified the car on ISTA and on the engine it show S63B44TO

I am super confused

i have a s63b44a. its the original s63 motor which is in the 2010-2012 bmw x5m and x6m

it has curved rods, not straight/standard looking rods like the 2013 f10 m5 has.

s63b44a does NOT have the variable valve timing that the 2013 f10 m5 has. so yes, there are differences.

s63b44a also does not have the labyrinth for the oil and gas separation and basically requires 2 catch cans.
