Check emissions light and Drivetrain Malfunction message

My check emissions light and drivetrain malfunction error message came on yesterday. The drivetrain malfunction error went away but the check emissions light is still on. Will this go away on its own? If not, is there a way to clear the light? I really appreciate any insight you all may have. Thanks.

*car is bone stock with 37,000 miles

Probably O2 sensors going bad, pretty easy to change yourself.

Do you have a video or write up that I can reference?

Update: The drivetrain malfunction warning came up again this morning when I put it in sports mode and did a little spirited driving. I pulled over and turned the engine off and started it and the light was gone. The emissions light is still lit. Thanks.

I don't, but you could see it being done in videos that show how to install downpipes on our cars.

But it might be many other things, you're best off taking it to a mechanic imo

When where the spark plugs or coils last changed? Sounds to me like car is picking up a misfire.

go pull the codes, or buy yourself a cable or WiFi dongle and app like bimmerlink and get BMW specific codes to troubleshoot
