how many z4 coupes were made? Are they done?

How many Z4 coupes have been made? I've never seen one on the road. Did they make the same amount for 2006, 2007, and 2008? Are these the only years they made the coupe, or will they continue making the coupe? I've seen the new Z4, but NO COUPE!

Z4 is no longer being made. There are many threads where people have posted figures for the total production.

Bottom line - not many were made.

Technically, the Z4 is still being made since the new E89 was labeled a Z4

I think you meant to say the Z4 coupe is no longer being made...

So if you own a Coupe, keep it. Not many were ever sold in the US so they'll become very rare in 10 years or so.

I wonder why they only made the coupes from 06-08. I'm glad that its rare and no longer being made though! Just don't really understand it....

When the Z4 was launched, they stated that there were no plans to do a coupe at all. At some point later on, they changed their minds, perhaps at the same time they decided to do an M version, since the M cars were basically launched at the same time as the coupe. This is also why the coupe is so outstandingly rigid.. the Z4 ragtop was built to be very rigid, then the roof was added and basically doubled the rigidity. It's also why the coupe is slightly heavier than the ragtop.
