Is $1400 reasonable?

2011 135i / N55 / Convertible

I had mine done at the dealer for $650 and that included replacing the mickey mouse flange with a billet one that I supplied.

I would look for an Indy shop if you have that option.

$1400 is absolutely ridiculous. Join BMWCCA, get to know your local chapter and find out where the good indys are.

read the DIY here, buy the swivel and extension, and star bit - This one's not really that hard. Just take your time, and follow the steps
