BMW 1 Series LA Auto Show video
As we were developing the website for the 1 Series, we had some fun playing with the 3D model of the Coupe. We set the various animations to music and fell in love with the energy it created—a perfect representation of the joy of driving the 1 Series will bring. Our fun turned into the video that introduced BMWNA Chairman Tom Purves at the LA Auto Show last month. Now we’re giving it to you. We hope you’ll find the energy contagious. Year One of the 1 begins Spring of 2008. Learn more at bmwusa.com/new1.

Nice.
I went to the LA auto show and didn't get a chance to sit in one.

So it appears. We wondered whether BMW gave a rodent's rear about their enthusiasts. Apparently so. Makes sense from a marketing view at the very least.
The silver 2002 video reminded me of my youth in my 2002. With any luck I'll survive the 135i as well then live to tell about scaring myself half to death.:iono:

Think about it guys...realistically....
this (1addicts) has been the market research lab for the 1-er from day one. We are all mice here- and you know it feels pretty good. The early days of the site we had guys from Munich basically "leaking" photos of colors requested on 1addicts. Sparkling Graphite is a great example of someone starting a speculative thread here and BMW releasing photos of one coming out of a wash bay within a day or two. The post from BMW1series is the first I've seen that the guys simply drop their cover and share something with us without any disguise as to the provenance of authorship. Excellent! Oh, & Great Video. Thanks. A near-production Sparkling Graphite 1-er with camo on trunk and rear bumper in Munich. |
