Pre-Purchase inspection Question.

I am finally in a financial position to get my dream car. Found one, and sent out a pre-purchase inspection company. Everything checks out except one thing. the COMPUTER DIAGNOSIS/OBD2. Please check out the link below. and help me understand how big of a deal this is.

Not really possible to diagnose with the provided information. As they stated, could have been a battery change, or someone could have cleared/reset codes that would have otherwise caused a check engine light to appear. The only way to get the car back into a readiness state is to drive it (there is a specific sequence of events and conditions that must occur to “reset” the monitors).
I can’t tell what state the car is in, but most require smog checks upon sale. It won’t pass smog without the monitors in ready state. Can the dealer provide details as to what kind of recon they did? New battery?

Maybe post in the local regional forums and see if someone with Esys or Ista can scan the car and see what’s up?

Could it be that somebody had it tuned and before they sold it, they flashed the stock tune back on to it?

They show the scanner in one of the pictures. It shows "O2S" is red, which is O2 Sensor. Other readiness monitors are ready/pass.

Best case, as other said, it could just be it needs to go through the drive cycle if the battery was disconnected. But, you can't be sure just from the photos and report. Depending on your state's smog check rules, 2 readiness monitors don't need to be ready to pass smog check.
