All season 315/35/22 tires available.

Hello all Im new to this forum. I just found that Continental makes all season tires in 315/35/22. Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 PLUS UHP All Season 315/35ZR22 111Y XL

Discount tire did not even have them on their website and I found them at Walmart.com. Discount tire can order them although they are not listed.

Interestingly, when you put in your vehicle for the 275/40/22 and 315/35/22 sizes, it doesn't come up in the results. But both sizes are carried on their site.

It looks like the 315's are 'Y' speed rated, whereas the 275 are 'W' rated. I suspect that's the reason.

I have these installed on my wife’s X7. Very smooth in dry conditions and handles up to 4-6” of snow fine in a 4wd vehicle. Great option if you don’t live in an extremely snowy state and only occasionally need to drive through the snow. If we lived in a more snowy state I would opt for a dedicated set of snow tires. Only downside with snow tires is they can get extremely loud on dry pavement.

Side note. I had snow tires on a RWD sports coupe before and was probably able to get around better than an SUV. My only issue was ground clearance.

Exciting news, thanks for sharing! I cannot get these tires to pull up in the 22" sizes on tire rack searching by either vehicle or tire size. Anyone else having luck?

Since these are not run flats, are you guys keeping a spare in the car?

I got mine at Discount Tires. They were able to order them, but the manager had to get involved for some reason. Great tires!

you have to search for them individually.
technically they are not a matched set as they dont have the same speed rating. which is probably why the manager needed to be involved to order them.

realistically its fine, most X7s are limited to 130mph, and the highest limit is 155.
W is 168mph, Y is 186

I planned on getting a spare with or without run flats. Just a no brainer with the amount of room dedicated for one.

Can you order with m50i/m60i spec? I wonder if the spare can clear the m brakes.

have had these on for a little over 2k miles. no complaints with these tires at all. was worried about road noise - i daresay they are quieter than the stock pirellis!!!! as with everyone else - you have to look for these tires by brand via tire rack. no issues ordering after that.

Yes it’s called space saver spare for $250. Worth every penny. I haven’t used it on mine but it came with factory so I m assuming it will clear M-brakes.

The issue is they are not run flats. If that's ok with you then yes. But I swap them summer and winter both runflats.

Just got em installed today. Still got the old runflats for backup summer tires. They ride very smooth and should last longer than the summer tires.
