Sport seats without Shadowline Trim?

So I was at BMWusa experimenting with various options. It doesn't look like there's any way to configure a 1'er with sport seats but without the shadowline trim.

Am I wrong?

Here is my delima. I want the sport package but the all season tires. The all season tires removes the sport package. The reason that I want the all season tires is that I am going to get a different set of after-market rims and I don't want to get a dedicated set of snow tires. If I have to do that, I would have 3 sets of rims sitting around the garage.

In most applications, the satin chrome trim looks more upscale and a little classier, while the Shadowline trim looks a bit sportier.

The difference isn't huge, but it would have been nice to allow us to choose. I was told by the dealer that the trim can be changed VERY easily, and inexpensively.

So, that's what I would recommend. Get the package you want, and then just change the trim if it's that important to you. Check with your dealer to make sure they will cooperate with you on this, and not charge you too much money if you ultimately should want to change it.

Personally, I really like the satin chrome trim much more than the shadowline... it's a touch of class, IMO. But, there is absolutely no "right or wrong"... or "better or worse" here... just a matter of your individual preference.
