Dealer Won't Order Lemon

Sounds like he's just misinformed & you need to educate him. My CA initially didn't think it was available either. It's now sitting in the garage. Muahaha. :biggrin:

Dump your salesman and/or speak to the sales manager and/or dump your dealership. If they can't go to bat for you on the color of your leather, esp. when everyone else is getting it, they don't deserve your business.

It's amazing how sometimes the more you spend, the less service you get. I can buy $20 worth of recycled printer ink cartidges from a guy who knows his product, stands behind his product, and, in the end, sells me a really good product. But in buying a $40,000 car you've got poorly trained, unenthused sales arseholes and you have to look over your shoulder half the time to make sure you're getting what you're entitled to. It's really amazing...

And, FWIW, the lemon interior would be great with Monaco blue...

Whip it out and ask them why other dealers can get it. Are the other dealers better than they are?

Some are completely clueless about the Priority 1 options, happened to me, but that's because my CA was getting some bad gouge from someone else. We cleared up the misunderstanding and I got exactly what I wanted.

No whooping needed. Just tell him that it's listed as a Priority 1 option in Centernet, along with Terracotta (that's really terra leather - they have a typo in the US Centernet ordering system).

You have to be real clear.............
LEMON IS A "PRIORTY ONE" OPTION along with TERRA.
Make sure he is looking at the P1 options available for the 1 series.
If he's not looking at the P1 options....it's not available. If he is, it is.

do all dealers have access to priority one options? any reason he wouldnt have access to them? do dealers have to pay extra for that?

My dealer couldn't get the ordering software to accept Terra until they specified that the car was for a customer and not the dealership. That may be your issue. I had to educate the guy a little about Priority One options.

Doesn't Lemon come with all black trim inside? I've seen some photos and it looks grey?

The Lemon would be the seats and the door inserts. The rest of the interior is black EXCEPT the trim. The trim is what you chose to make it. Gloss Black, Aluminum, Grey Poplar, Walnut, etc.

I guess I'm talking about the upper ceiling headliner. Appears to be grey. Anyone know for sure?
