Military Sales question

For those of you that already ordered your car did you have to fax your rep a copy of your overseas orders? The reason i ask is my rep doesn't want them at all. He doesnt seem to care if i'm actuallly going overseas or not. In order to use this program you have to be stationed overseas so i figured that would be one of the first things they check. I dont know... this makes me kinda nervous about my rep... Seems fishy.:iono:

I'm going through superiormotorsmsp.com if that matters

Anyone got any experience on this?

I never sent a copy of my orders but I did have to give them my APO address. I can't speak for superior motors though, as I used first choice MSP

Yeup, that is somewhat of a hidden secret. I also NEVER had to send them REAL proof that I was overseas. They only had me sign a piece of paper stating that I was overseas. Then I had to have the person in charge of me sign it. I just had my roomate another SSGT sign it. Then I faxed that in. I did have an APO/FPO address and it appeared on my purchase order. But its not like they actually sent any paperwork to me via mail. It was all email driven.

I went with pentagon car sales just as an FYI

So i guess the whole thing operates on the honor system. I figured it would be alot more strict that this. My rep doesn't even require my .mil email address. This program is pretty much open to everyone then!

Yeah to an extent. I did have to send them my military ID. Also, the email address I was corresponding with had Iraq.mil in it. Obviously I was in Iraq. Although I correspond now via my comcast email. However, I thought the same thing that it would be EASY to get away with not really being over there. I truthfully dont think they care. A sale is a sale.
