Her name was Lola... Finally Arrived Today!!

Finally got her home!
My husband, mother, and I all drove to Daytona Beach this morning to pick up my little 1.

Gray Boston Leather- had no tint or shade of blue, and I was pleased!!!

Sedona Red Metallic upclose!

One very happy owner!!

Nice!

I think that if I saw that color in person, I would have selected it over the white... Great pics!

Congrats on the car!

Thank you! The wait is the hardest part, but it is worth it!

Congrats on the new car! I like the color choices, like everyone keeps saying any color on that car looks great.

How do you plan on driving her? How about your break in plan?

What was the first "driving maneuver" you did when you got it?

Well I must admit I did push her a little on the way to work, but I'm staying with the BMW guideline. Not going anywhere near 4500 R's and I'm varying the speed for the first 1200 miles. Once I've made it past that- I'm setting up an appointment with Dinan!! I'm going for the software upgrade! As far as the "first maneuver" I did alot of passing in the left, nothing major (yet)!

Absolutely! 384 horsepower at 5700 rpm, 421 lb-ft torque at 4300 rpm... even if it's only to the fly- it's irresistible! It's a shame there's only one upgrade so far and it's only worth 2 points, but I'll continue to work towards earning the badge!

Congrats!!!

Yeah I want a Dinan badge as well, but the 1 series is so stacked, it will be tough to get 10 points without it only being a minor upgrade. I talked to a rep at Dinan and they acknowledged that and may give big points for the few things they have in the works...downpipes, larger oil cooler, etc.

I haven't heard about them giving bigger points, but that's definitely something I'm going to look into. I know they give 3 points for the major free flow exhausts and header systems.. It'll be interesting to see what comes out next!

Nice car. Even cooler seeing a female driving it, and all this enthusiasm to mod it.:thumbup:

Get Dinan matts, dont they give one point?

Sedona red!! Sweet. I actually do like that color but went with Tiag instead. Now be careful and don't get any tickets!

Gotta say Mo, Lola is a beauty. I don't know what all the fuss is about the color...it's just like what I would expect it to be (nod to the Sedona mountains). Congrats on your first BMW, take good care of her and oh....drive safely!

Love, Mom
