135 Coupe or 128 Convertible

Hope this hasn't already been beaten to death. I'm debating on whether to order the 135 coupe or the 128 convertible. Price is a consideration so I dont think I can afford a 135 convertible or buy a coupe and convertible. At first I was leaning towards the convertible. Now Im leaning towards the coupe as today I saw a young women in VW EOS and it struck me that the 128 convertible may be too much of a chick car. Not trying to offend anyone but wondering what are your opinions?

I would rather have the 135i, coupe or convertible. I wouldn't be able to settle for the 128i, so I would just wait and save some more money. I did just that and bought my current 330Ci over the 325Ci.

135i... I love to drive but am not a huge fan of sun exposure.

Get a stripped 135i Vert. The only 2 things you absolutely can't change are..the engine <TT engine is all that>, and the top. Nothing like a pure Vert. Just leave off all the goodies

If you live in a warm climate and really like conv's get one, but I do think the conv 1 series is more towards women IMO. Not saying anything bad. If you do get the 128i Conv, get a dark color body and light color int. Also get the SPORT PACKAGE.

Convertibles are :w00t:. Who came up with the crazy idea that we should let the women have our convertibles? Probably a woman! Next, they'll be wanting our twin turbos.

And besides... think about it... what could be wrong with being in a car that attracts women? Nothing...
Unless you'd rather attract men. :eyebulge:...LOL!!

Bottom line... kidding aside, get what you want!
