Dealer Prep?

Just read about Dealer Preparation of a Car. Apparently they wash and wax it, but I've read that the washing and waxing can cause swirls if not done properly.

Is requesting a hand wash and hand wax something that could cause a problem?

i think it depends on the dealer, but they want a good rating so if they have the have wash available I dont think they would mind doing it
