Comfort Access System
The comfort Access System appears to be a popular option on the forum. I understand that the doors can be opened and the car can be started without taking the keys out of your pocket. I'm unsure whether this is worth the additional $1250 in Australia. What are the benefits of the system and why would I need or want to have it.

lets say its raining and you have bags of shopping in your hands, you don't need to fumble about looking for your keys, you walk straight to your car grab the handle and the door is unlocked...
Generally it makes life easier, you never have to get your keys out... I had it on one of my cars and I can't wait to have it again on the 135i... that being said its not a "must have" option, its very nice, very convenient but if I was limited to how much I could spend CA would not be high on my list... I would rather have sports pack or USB/IPOD to CA.

Can the comfort access system be retrofitted at a later date?
