Excellent colour combination. I'm planning on getting Jet Black with Lemon/Brushed Alu. 135i steptronic, without idrive - does that mean I'll miss out on having my mp3 tracks listed on the pop up screen?

Thanks for the info. Metallic colours cost A$1,600 extra in Aus. I had a 1994 Jet Black 318i for six years, and I've loved JB on BMWs ever since.

Plus some colours are available in some countries and not others -what's up with that BMW? Don't they come from the same factory? |

We don't have the option of a diesel 1coupe in Aus. Plus diesel costs more than 98 octane petrol here - go figure.
Did you get to test drive your 123d against a 135i? If so, how did the performance compare? |

Didn't test drive the 135i, that would have been a very silly idea! My justification to myself for buying the 123d is because i was sick of spending stupid amounts of money on petrol. As much as i love bmw's in-line six's i had to stick to my justification and get a diesel. Now you see that if i had test drove a 135i i would start saying to myself "ah it's only another 20 quid a month" and there my whole reasoning for buying a new car would be out of the window! That been said, this car is noticeable faster than my previous 320ci and it's very hard to stay under the speed limit, without pushing it i'm easily hitting 100mph on a strech of road where in my old car i could only get to about 90mph tops!

Now that brushed aluminum looks like it matches the door handles perfectly. Classic and clean.
I still can't NOT get the aluminum in the states. I just love the industrial look and feel of it. |
