Hitch Pics

Due to overwealming request (ok 2 or 3) here are the pictures of the receiver I had installed on my 1'er for my bike rack.

Awesome! Thanks for the pics!

Did you install it yourself? Looks like a very clean install! Also, what's the specs on it. I'm wondering if it will hold a tire carrier, so that way I wouldn't need to have the car wired for trailer lighting.

Well, the 135 certainly has the torque for towing!

Sorry Larry. Busy week.
No not a DIY. It was done by a client of mine that owns a hitch shop. He is German and does a lot of fabrication for BMW, Mercedes etc. Not sure on the specs as I'm only using it for a bike rack but it is very solid and should have no problem with a tire carrier.

This may be of some help ........ http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=260463

keep in mind - that guy installed an extra support on the front end - looks easy to duplicate too.....

Here is that hitch.........

Do you have pics from the rear of the car. Curious to how hidden it looks. As its called hidden hitch.
Also do you know if this is the way the rear bike holder from BMW works? From the pics in the accessories catalog it doesn't look like there is a hitch.
