Traction Control

Hey Everyone...

I did some searching around and cannot find the simple answer. What is the differnce between DTC and holding it to have the traction control turned off?

Also, how do most of you prefer to drive?

Garage List
Go to this thread..........http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...=owners+manual

Go to post #20 for the owners manual.
Go to page 66 of the owners manual for details on DTC and DSC

But the description in the manual is vague and worthless:
Quote:
DTC is a version of DSC in which the drive output is optimized for particular road conditions, e.g. unplowed snow-covered roads. The system assures the maximal drive output, but with reduced driving stability.
Which means, what, exactly? Nobody really knows, which is why we end up having threads like this:
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8138

...which started off as a discussion of how to completely turn off DSC instead of just activiating DTC mode. Post 45 comes closest to explaining the differences between DTC, DSC, etc. even if I disagree with the contention that M Dynamic Mode is the same as DTC mode.
